Booking Terms and Conditions
If booking direct, a deposit of £20.00 per person per night is required, based on two people sharing a room. For a one night stay the full cost is taken at time of booking. If booking through the website, a minimum deposit of the first night's stay is required. We also ask for an anticipated time of arrival on booking.
Check in times are between 2.00 pm and 9.30pm on day of arrival. Check out time is 10.00 am on day of departure. If you would like to arrive earlier or later than those times please telephone us on 01723 372735 to avoid disappointment if this is not possible.
Rooms to be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.

To comply with UK Legislation The Windmill operates a strict NO SMOKING policy. Smoking is permitted outside the gate where there is a “Smoker’s Box” for cigarette ends. Our NO SMOKING policy covers the courtyard, all interior areas of the property, including guest bedrooms, bathrooms, public areas and corridors. The Windmill reserves the right to terminate a booking without notice and without refund for guests who do not comply with the NO SMOKING policy. If this situation occurs the guest(s) will be required to pay the tariff of the full booking and may have up to £200.00 (or more if there is any damage to furniture or furnishings) added to their bill to cover the costs of cleaning/fumigating all soft furnishings and carpets and loss of business.
Take Away Food
We ask guests not to consume food in their room as this can lead to marks on furniture and fittings and unpleasant odours in the room. Failure to comply with this request will result in guests being asked to pay for the extra cleaning costs with a minimum charge of £50.
Please report any damages as soon as possible to allow us to carry out repairs/replace the item(s) thus causing little disruption to yourselves or future guests. We reserve the right to charge for those damages and any loss of business resulting from the damage.
Any excess charges/unpaid bills will be passed to a debt recovery agent and their charges added to the unpaid amount.
